This time, I raised it by pump-type hydroponics.

Purchase two 100 dollar bell pepper seeds at the classic Daiso (One Dollar shop)(/・ω・)/

I'm going to grow with cell seedlings this time.
The advantage of cell seedlings is that the roots are strong and grow hard until the latter half of growth.
On the other hand, the disadvantage is that it leaves excessive leaves or abnormal stems.
Since this time it is air pump type hydroponics, I thought that it would be better to have strong roots, so I tried to make a cell seedling.

 

It seems that it grows well and becomes a straight stalk when the root grows downward.

Oh, Bell pepper is an anaerobic seed.

 

15 April 2017, 14 days after sowing,

The bud has come out.

It was a little cold, so I raised it in a plastic bag. (W like a simple greenhouse)

(The average temperature in Kanto in April 2017 was 14.7 ℃)

(The optimum temperature for germination of Bell pepper is 25-30 ℃)

44 days after sowing,
