ermination experiment

experiment content and purpose

The purpose of this experiment is! Get it! What kind of nursery do you sow seeds efficiently?

The three elements to germinate are said to be water, temperature and oxygen,

I felt that germination and growth were different under the same conditions when I went to a kitchen garden,

I would like to test by experiment which nursery should i sow seeds.(`・ω・´)

Experimental overview

Prepared nurseries

1, kitchen paper
2, sponge
3, palm peat (the soil of palm fruit fiber is also put in 100 grade and so on.
4, culture soil (gardening soil)

Sow seeds on four nursery beds (only put) and observe which nursery beds grow best

Germination experiment (nucleate bed edition)

Let's try germination experiment which nursery is the fastest growing. (`・ω・´)

Experiment day, mid-June (room temperature 23 ° C)

Hydroponics Experiment Hydroponic Gardening

The prepared nursery is
1. Kitchen paper
2. Sponge
3. Palm peat (made of palm fruit fiber and purchased from Daiso (One Dollar shop))
4. Culture soil (we purchased at home center.)
We prepared four nursery beds.(`・ω・´)
In the four nursery beds, sow seeds of perilla (only put from the top), spray water with a spray and cover.

Fill with a lid (^◇^)

Place this on the window for three days and watch it.

It has been three days, so open the lid. (^◇^)

Hydroponic culture Experiment Hydroponic Gardening

First is kitchen paper.

It may be white and hard to understand, but some species sprout and some grow well.

Next is the sponge.

Only the seeds surrounded by red circles sprout.

And Palmpeet.

Most species are sprouting. The roots are growing so long. (^◇^)

The last is culture soil.

I thought it was difficult to understand the species, so I circled with a red circle.

The species did not germinate either.

experimental results

1. Kitchen Paper Although there are differences in growth after germination, there was the most grown seed among the four nursery beds.
2. Sponge There is only one germinated species, and that species also has poor growth.
3. Palm peat All seeds germinated well and growth was even.
Four. Culture Soil All seeds did not germinate.

Experimental results from future kitchen garden

When I did the germination experiment, the culture soil did not sprout unexpectedly.
Is the temperature of the three elements necessary for germination and water together so there is not enough oxygen later?
The nursery paper of the kitchen paper where there was the most grown seed from this experiment utilizes the sprouted species in a method called transplanting,
We decided to use the palm peat seedbed which has uniformly germinated and grown as a hydroponic seed bed. (`・ω・´)
